Our first new buildings on the expansion land, ‘D1’ and ‘D2’ will be available for fit-out from early 2028.

The buildings offer 140,000 sq ft net of new workspace, which can be configured and fitted-out for wet and/or dry laboratories, other research and translation, technology or associated uses.

The buildings are highly sustainable and adaptable, offering a new home for companies of all sizes. Some of the new space is likely to be fitted out as new incubator and accelerator space for start-up and growing companies.

The plans also include food and drink outlets, communal meeting spaces, active travel amenities, and landscaping, all designed to promote innovation and foster a sense of community.

The striking design is by Gensler and construction is now underway, alongside the development of the first new homes, a health and fitness facility and supporting infrastructure including roads, bridges, ambient loop heat and microgrid power networks.
